Great News for TAJ Lovers; Union Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu flagged off the country’s first semi-high speed train, Gatimaan Express on Tuesday Morning at 10 a.m. It will take around 100 minutes to reach Agra from Delhi with a maximum speed of 160km p/h. Gatimaan will run between Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station and Agra Cantonment Station. It will run six days a week except Friday
The train’s fares charges is quite higher than a Shatabdi. The train has 12 coaches of Executive Class as well as chair cars, hostesses in each compartment, free wi-fi facility,automatic doors, and several other facilities to offer a comfortable train journey in specially designed coaches. According to a Railway Board member, the train will have “Rail Hosts and Hostesses” dressed in a blue uniform, specially designed for them.
