A pro golfer was taken aback when a confident fella approached her and decided to tell her how to do her job.
It’s not everyday that someone meets a professional golfer, but when this lad did, he did what nobody should do – he gave her pointers.
Georgia Ball is a pro golfer with the Professional Golfers’ Association – or PGA and she regularly shares clips of herself on TikTok practising.
She even offers tips and tricks to wannabe golfers, like this bloke.
However, when she pulled up to the range that day, she probably didn’t think she would encounter a ballsy bloke who not only didn’t recognise her, but mansplained the whole art of swinging to her.

In a clip shared to TikTok, Ball could be seen at the driving range she was filming herself hitting the golf ball and it sailing down the range.
However, it should be noted that she purposefully stopped her swing earlier, as she was changing tactics.
That was the moment she was approached by a seemingly well-meaning, stranger who tried to give the professional golfer some advice on what she was doing wrong.
In the clip, the man, can be hear saying off to her side: “Excuse me, what you are doing there, you should not being doing that.”
He continued: “You should be right through your swing and follow through. You are too slow on the way up and then back.”
Ball went on to explain numerous times that she was aware of her form, as she was trying out a new style of swing.

She said back to him: “OK, I am going through a swing change at the minute.”
The man then said: “I’ve been playing golf 20 years.”
Ball then lines up another shot and sends the ball sailing with her swing, to which the guy says: “See how much better that was?”
At this point, Ball tells him she was deliberately slowing down her swing, prompting the man to reply: “Keep doing that anyway, OK?”
Georgia explained her reaction to LADbible, saying that she was ‘shocked’ but now can ‘see the funny side’.

She said: “To be honest the entire experience has been overwhelming – but in a very good way of course!
“At the time during the conversation with him I was totally open to any advice and taking any feedback on board – as I am with anyone, pro golfer or not.
“It was when he wouldn’t let me speak or let me properly explain what I was doing with my swing change, I just thought it was best to get back to my practice session.”

Commenting on the clip, which has been viewed some millions of times on TikTok, Georgia admitted: “This was a bit awkward, not going to lie. I couldn’t help but laugh. I was lost for words!”
However, her response to the amusing situation has been praised by social media users with one saying: “I’m behind my own cushion in embarrassment for that guy. She was extremely polite about it – what a legend she is.”
Someone else said: “She showed grace, was polite, and allowed this man near her to indulge in some mansplaining. Would he have felt the need to open his mouth if it was a middle aged man with a beer gut? I doubt it.”
While TV presenter Dan Walker chipped in to say: “Georgia showed remarkable levels of class and restraint here.
“I hope the fella involved gives a full apology and goes to her for a lesson.”
