Liam Payne’s final act of kindness reveals he donated incredible amount to GoFundMe pages just weeks before tragic death

Liam Payne’s overwhelming charity contributions before his death have been revealed.

The 31-year-old singer tragically passed away after reportedly falling from the balcony of his third-floor hotel room at the CasaSur hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Authorities were called on October 16 at around 5:00pm, after responding to reports of an ‘aggressive man who could be under the effects of drugs and alcohol’.

Authorities were then told by the hotel manager a man had fallen from the balcony of his room, which was later confirmed to be that Payne, who rose to fame as part of band One Direction on the British singing talent show The X-Factor.

Now, it has been revealed that Payne spent his final weeks donating to various GoFundMe fundraisers.

The singer’s charitable donations were unveiled after his passing, and fans have been left speechless.

The dad of seven-year-old Bear, who he shares with singer Cheryl Cole, found fame alongside Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, and Zayn Malik.

Payne fell to his death from his balcony while visiting the country to go to Horan’s concert, and succumbed to ‘internal and external’ bleeding which left emergency services unable to resuscitate.

Witnesses at the hotel shared his final interactions, which saw him smash his laptop and act erratically, with the singer even convulsing on the lobby floor at one stage.

Unfortunately, it would only be moments later that he would be found passed away in the courtyard.

Police later confirmed that his room was left ‘in complete disarray’ with ‘various items broken’, as well as noting that a whiskey bottle, lighter and mobile phone had been retrieved near his body.

While the events leading up to his untimely death have been heavily scrutinised, his last few weeks were found to have been incredibly generous, spreading joy to those in need.

The singer allegedly sent thousands of pounds to people in need of financial aid, with the Mirror claiming that he donated $3000 to help 28-year-old Jack, who is receiving treatment for Stage 4 B Cell Lymphoma.

Payne then sent $5000 to a GoFundMe fundraiser in September to a family with a four-year-old who has cancer, so that they can pay their bills.

That same month he also sent $1000 to a GoFundMe to help a teenage girl called Taylor Jones who had been significantly injured in a school shooting on September 4th.

He also donated $2,900 to a four-year-old who is recovering from a stroke.

Before his death, Payne explained: “As a father, it hits me differently. I would want everyone in the world helping. I have been spending the last few nights trying to finish off the donations so they can get the operations they need – they would be free in my country.

“I can’t look at a sick child and not see Bear. I can’t and I won’t. I’m not asking for people to say well done or I’m amazing – I don’t give a f*** about what people think of me.”

He added: “What I care about is that that child gets to live the life it’s supposed to.”

Emma Revie, CEO of The Trussel Trust shared that the singer had been supporting the Trust, which provided approximately 360,000 meals during Covid, and thanked him for his support and generosity.
