The cause of death of the bank employee who was found dead at her desk after four days has been revealed.
Back in August, Denise Prudhomme died while she was at work for Wells Fargo in Tempe, Arizona.
Prudhomme was last recorded as having scanned into work at 7.00am on August 16, Temple police confirmed to 12News.
However, she was not recorded to have ever left the building after that.
Security workers in the building called emergency services after the finding the 60-year-old unresponsive at her third-floor desk.
Local officials later confirmed that Prudhomme was found slumped at her desk in a cubicle.
The woman’s cubicle was said to have been away from the main aisle, with people in the office complaining of a bad smell that had apparently developed within their workplace.

The odour was explained as being the result of faulty plumbing, but it was instead the body starting to decay.
An employee from Wells Fargo, who was not named, spoke to 12 News about the tragedy that sent shockwaves across Arizona.
They told the outlet: “It’s really heartbreaking and I’m thinking, ‘What if I were just sitting there?’ No one would check on me?
“That’s the scary part. That’s the uneasy part. It’s negligence in some part. I’m just wondering why they didn’t formally address employees about it?”
Months on, Prudhomme’s cause of death has been detailed, as a report by Maricopa County Office of the Medical Examiner has been released.

She died of a ‘sudden cardiac death in the setting of myocardial fibrosis’, with Prudhomme’s death listed as natural.
Police indicated back in August the worker died of natural causes, subsequently ruling out any idea of foul play.
Following the awful tragedy, Wells Fargo issued a statement to 12News.
A spokesperson for the company said: “We are deeply saddened by the tragic loss of our colleague at our Tempe office. Our thoughts and prayers are with their families and loved ones during this difficult time.”
The bank went on to state it was ‘fully cooperating’ with authorities in their investigation.

Our thoughts are with her family and loved ones, and we are in contact to ensure they are well supported during this difficult time. We are committed to the safety and wellness of our workforce.
