Astonishing amount of money Sydney Sweeney has earned since saying she barely makes enough to survive

The astonishing amount of money Sydney Sweeney has earned since she revealed she barely makes enough money to survive has been detailed.

Back in July, the actor spoke to The Hollywood Reporter, where she revealed she doesn’t earn as much as we’d all think.

I mean, Hollywood is an extremely lucrative business, with some actors reportedly earning millions before they even begin filming.

Well, the Euphoria star spoke about not being able to afford to take time off work so she could enjoy a celebrity lifestyle.

“If I wanted to take a six-month break, I don’t have income to cover that,” Sweeney said.

“I don’t have someone supporting me, I don’t have anyone I can turn to, to pay my bills or call for help.”

The actor of course admitted she’s not skint, but beauty campaign deals do go a long way.

“They don’t pay actors like they used to, and with streamers, you no longer get residuals,” Sweeney continued.

“The established stars still get paid, but I have to give five percent to my lawyer, 10 percent to my agents, three percent or something like that to my business manager.”

The rising-star added: “I have to pay my publicist every month, and that’s more than my mortgage.

“If I just acted, I wouldn’t be able to afford my life in LA. I take deals because I have to.”

As per Just Jared, it has been revealed how much Sweeney has been making in recent times.

According to the outlet, Sweeney bagged $250,000 for her role in Immaculate, $650,000 for Reality, and $750,000 because of her appearance in Madame Web.

For Anyone But You, the actor is said to have made $2 million as well as $250,000 on producers fee – making a grand total of $3.9 million.

Since 2022, Sweeney has also appeared in Eden and Americana, but the salaries for these roles are not immediately clear.

But if they are anything like her other projects, then the threshold is very likely over the $4 million threshold.

Sweeney even has upcoming projects that could seen that tally increase even further.

The 27-year-old has previously spoken about growing up in a difficult background, as she explained the tough choices her parents had to make when they moved to LA so Sweeney could pursue an acting career at 13 years old.

“We lived in one room. My mom and I shared a bed and my dad and little brother shared a couch,” she recalled.
