Child’s mind-bending Halloween costume is so impressive that people have no idea how he did it

The internet has gone crazy in defense of a little boy who came third in a Halloween costume contest, with thousands of comments saying he ‘should’ve won’.

The schoolboy went all out as he dressed up as a man cut in half holding his own body, and it has confused everyone – including adults.

When looking at the boy, he simply defies physics; his legs aren’t underneath him, and it has left countless people bewildered.

I’m sure his mom and dad thought he’d be a shoo-in for top prize, but unfortunately, judges at Admira Moorer Middle School, in Eufaula, Alabama, didn’t think so.

Instead, he came third behind a boy dressed as an old man, and in first place was a girl dressed as Wednesday Addams.

Now, I’m not bashing their costumes, as they both looked ace, but surely the boy seemingly defying physics should snatch the prize?

While pictures of the boy donning his outfit have gone viral, the competition actually took place last year.

I wonder what he went as this year?

Scores of people have flocked to Twitter to share their disappointment for the boy coming in third place.

One person wrote: “Rigged popularity contest, biased ass judges.”

Another typed: “He should’ve won.”

While a third commented: “They did bro dirty.”

Well, without context, it seems like the little boy was ‘robbed’, as someone put, but Advance Local, an Alabama-based publication, has explained what the kids were being judged upon.

It wasn’t all about the costume; students had to perform a skit, and the judges tallied points up based on factors like the theme of the ‘Harvest Dance’ and how each student engaged with the audience.

So, while the boy’s costume rocked, he may well have been outperformed on the stage.

But it still left everyone confused with how the heck he actually created his costume.

One user took to social media to write: “Can someone tell me the secret to this costume? I still can’t figure out how…”

A second said: “Hows he doing this is the real question.”

Well, fortunately, I may be able to provide some insight on this.

First, you need to cut two holes in the back of your trousers behind where your knees would go.

Next, cut out the back of an oversized shirt so it dangles from your neck and arms.

Then, put cardboard in the top of your trousers and fill it out with paper or any kind of material so that you can hold it.

Lastly, put your legs in the trousers and lean back slightly so it gives the illusion that your arms and legs aren’t together.

Good luck and Happy Halloween!
