Actor had incredible response to finding out she was the first woman to show nude bum in MCU

There’s nothing like making history, and Kathryn Hahn has made the best history possible by showing her cheeks in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

For those of you who don’t know, Hahn stars in Marvel show Agatha All Along, where she plays Agatha Harkness, a witch who is navigating regaining her powers and stirring up trouble.

Released in September, it’s a fantastic nine-episode mini-series, but what people may not be aware of is that it’s the first time the MCU has displayed a woman’s bare bottom.

As if you couldn’t love Hahn enough after she took on roles in Step Brothers and Parks and Rec.

But here she is, and in all her glory too.

When the actor found out, she had the perfect response.

Hahn appeared on a recent episode of The Jennifer Hudson Show and chatted about her career as well as the success of the hit show.

It was there that Hudson brought up Hahn’s milestone in the MCU, presenting her a gift to celebrate.

The host said to her: “You do realise you are the first woman to show your butt in the Marvel Cinematic Universe?”

Hahn’s response? Iconic.

She replied: “I am. I didn’t know it at the time.

“But also to know that it’s behind Thor is pretty great. Thor, me – just our butts encased in gold.”

She mentioned Thor because Chris Hemsworth’s character also showed off his bum in 2022’s Thor: Love and Thunder.

Hudson then wasted no time when bringing out the present and presented it to Hahn, saying: “We got you something to commemorate that moment.”

It was a black and purple plaque which read: “First Woman to Show Her Butt in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.”

Hahn clearly loved it and said: “This is like I walked on the moon!

“This is the best! I can quit now.

“You’ll never see me act again because now I have this.”

Agatha All Along is a spin-off from WandaVision (2021) and shows what Hahn’s villain is getting up to after Wanda stole her magical abilities.

Along with Hahn, diving into the witchiness on her ‘dangerous, mysterious adventure’, is Aubrey Plaza, Patti LuPone and Joe Locke.

LuPone recently made some big moves when it came to defending the show after Martin Scorsese said that Marvel ‘isn’t cinema’.

The actor previously admitted to not knowing much at all about the MCU and when LADbible caught up with her, she said she still doesn’t.

In 2019, Scorsese said he’s ‘tried’ to watch some of the movies, but they’re simply ‘not cinema’, to which LuPone said: “As I said, I don’t know anything about Marvel, and so I don’t know who the other directors are, and I don’t know what the characters are, but I think she [director Jac Schaeffer] takes what is Marvel, what are Marvel characters, and then creates an environment that is cinematic storytelling.”

You tell him, LuPone!
