Warning: This story contains major spoilers for Tyler Perry’s Beauty in Black part one on Netflix
Beauty in Black fans reckon part two of the hit drama has been ‘ruined’ after Netflix revealed a major spoiler.
Created and produced by Tyler Perry, the first half of the 16-episode TV series dropped on October 25.
Taylor Polidore Williams and Crystle Stewart star as struggling stripper Kimmie and beauty businesswoman Mallory, whose worlds collide with explosive consequences.
Beauty in Black has shot to the top of the Netflix TV charts after leaving fans floored by episode eight’s ‘chokehold’ cliffhanger ending. You can watch the trailer below:
In the show’s final moments, Kimmie slams jealous strip club owner Body (Tamera Kissen) with a car after she takes Kimmie’s teen sister hostage.
Meanwhile, viewers are lead to believe Charles (Steven Norfleet) was killed after his sports car was shot at – but it’s never revealed whether or not he’s actually dead.
Now, fans reckon Netflix have spoiled his fate in a 15-second teaser shown at the end of episode eight.
Hinting at more eruptive drama to come, the clip confirms Kimmie and co will return for its next eight episodes in spring 2025.
But Charles makes a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it appearance in the teaser, meaning he must still be alive in part two.

One eagled-eyed fan cautioned others on Twitter, writing: “So without ruining the show for anyone I just want to say that #BeautyinBlack was entertaining but I was floored when the cliffhanger of the last episode was ruined by a preview for the episodes dropping in Spring 2025.
“After you watch, u will understand! Smh.”
Another typed: “I just noticed something… Charles did not die in the shoot out on the backroad because they show him in the second part #BeautyInBlackNetflix,” as someone else replied: “Right I peeped that I’m so excited he still alive but who tf was trynna take him out is the real question.”
And one fan theorized: “I don’t think Charles was in the Lamborghini. I think it was the dancer from the club. I think the dancer stole his car and was going to go to Charles’ house to rob him while Charles is at the club high.”

Meanwhile, Fans have been complaining about the long wait for part two, which is expected to land sometime between March and June 2025.
Beauty in Black is part of Perry’s creative partnership with Netflix, which will see him write, direct, and produce films and series under a multi-year first-look deal.
The first film of the partnership, legal thriller Mea Culpa, was released in February.
