Biohacker who used son’s blood to ‘reverse aging’ shares odd admission about his ‘typical day’

A ‘biohacker’ who’s gone as far as to use his own son’s blood to help him ‘reverse’ his age has shared some unusual insights to his ‘typical day’.

Silicon Valley entrepreneur Bryan Johnson was born 47 years ago, but thanks to a series of intense lifestyle changes, treatments and therapies, he’s managed to ‘hack’ ageing.

According to Johnson, his mission has helped him achieve the ‘heart of 37-year-old’ and the ‘lung capacity of an 18-year-old’ – but it’s not just a case of drinking more water and getting your beauty sleep.

The biohacker is open about the procedures he’s undergone to reverse his age, including having his DNA ‘edited’, injecting himself with stem cells and exchanging blood with his son, and recently he shared another insight as he posted about his ‘typical day’.

It seems that reversing your age truly is a full-time job – and not a glamorous one.

In a post shared on Twitter on Monday (October 14), Johnson shared a list of things he’d achieved that day, and it started with filling two glass vials with his semen.

See, I told you it wasn’t glamorous.

Johnson went on to make more bizarre admissions about his day, explaining that after filling the glass vials with his semen, he proceeded to dab the substance onto a dried blood spot card.

Things only got more graphic as Johnson then described filling ‘five tubes with [his] stool’.

His list continued: “Did a cheek swab; pricked my fingers 10 times; started blood glucose monitoring; removed all my plasma & replaced w Albumin.”

While it might sound like a nightmarish day at a hospital for some, Johnson ended his post by stressing it was just a ‘typical day’.

Johnson works with a team of medics who monitor his body, though he is a ‘human guinea pig’ for a lot of the extreme procedures.

He expanded on having his plasma ‘removed’ in a follow-up post, explaining the purpose was to ‘remove toxins from [his] body’.

Johnson added: “The operator, who’s been doing TPE (total plasma exchange) for nine years, said my plasma is the cleanest he’s ever seen. By far. He couldn’t get over it.

“When we finished, he couldn’t bring himself to throw it away. He was imagining all the good that it could do in the world.”

To compliment the more invasive elements of his age-reversal project, Johnson also follows a precise daily routine at home, which includes monitoring his body fat and heart rate, taking a variety of medicines and vitamins, and following a strict diet.
