Booking.com has issued a statement after people who had hotel rooms secured for Oasis concerts reported their reservations being cancelled.
The reunion of Oasis has sent millions in to a craze, with 14 huge concerts announced across the United Kingdom and Ireland as both Liam and Noel Gallagher commit to appearing back on stage together for the first time in 15 years.
More than one million tickets will go on sale on Saturday morning (31 August), with a presale set to take place on Friday (30 August) with many desperate to secure the goods ahead of the weekend.

As well as tickets, Britpop lovers are already securing hotels for the gigs as demand skyrockets across the concert dates.
It’s seen prices skyrocket in Manchester, Dublin, London, Edinburgh, and Cardiff, with demand seeing room prices more than double in some instances.
One set of screenshots shared to X (formerly Twitter) showed the price of hotels in Dublin for the dates of the two Oasis concerts in the city, comparing the price before the announcement and afterwards.
One hotel went up from €149 a night to €410 a night, with the general price range going from between €150 and €300 a night to a minimum of €310 in the city and highs of €520 for a one night stay.

In the UK, reservations in two Manchester hotels were cancelled across the dates of the four Oasis concerts taking place at the city’s Heaton Park.
Customers with reservations at the Maldron Hotel Manchester City and Maldron Hotel Cathedral Quarter for 11, 12, 19, and 20 July, 2025, were emailed telling them their bookings could not be honoured.
Speaking to LADbible, Dalata Hotel Group, which runs Maldron Hotels said a ‘technical error’ had let too many rooms be booked across those dates. The same error also let punters later book the rooms for higher prices, with these bookings also cancelled, the company confirmed.
Rooms booked prior to 26 August will be honoured, Dalata confirmed, with the company apologising for the cancellations for bookings on the days following this.

With hotel prices surging across the five cities where Oasis gigs have been confirmed, LADbible spoke to Booking.com about your rights when it comes to increased prices and the rare occasions where your room might be cancelled.
A spokesperson for Booking.com said: “While hotels and other accommodation are in complete control of their availability and prices that they list on Booking.com, we do have strict guidelines and codes of conduct, and if we are made aware of any practices that break our terms and conditions then we can take action as needed.
“This can be to ask that the partner act fairly and honour bookings they have already confirmed to our mutual customers, or offer viable alternatives.
“In cases where an accommodation is unable to honour a reservation we will intervene on behalf of the customer as a next step.”

Where can I buy tickets?
Fans will be able to buy tickets from 9am on Saturday, 31 August from Ticketmaster, SEE Tickets and GIGSANDTOURS. The Dublin gigs will go on sale an hour earlier at 8am.
