A teen has claimed that he, in a previous life, died while onboard the Titanic when it sank more than 100 years ago.
For the majority of his life, Wisconsin college student Jamey and his family have been of the understanding that he was one of the 1,517 people that died when the vessel sunk on April 15, 1912 – more specifically its architect, Thomas Andrews.
His mom opened up about what life was like with the youngster in her home, as she spoke to an LMN film crew for The Ghost Inside My Child.

She explained how she caught him with his babysitter watching the second half of the epic 1997 film, Titanic, starring Kate Winslet as Rose Dewitt Bukater, and Leonardo DiCaprio as Jack Dawson.
She said “The next day, he started drawing and painting picture after picture of the Titanic. Within the first two weeks, he had probably painted 50 pictures.”
His drawings depicted the ship with more than 100 windows while another showed all the levels it had inside.
“He knew the ship by heart. You can’t learn that by watching the movie. The movie was actually more about the love story,” she added.

“Jamey was completely distraught over the fact that the people in the boiler room died first, like it was his fault that they were trapped.
“He started talking about the accident itself and how it shouldn’t have happened, that there were mistakes, there were corners cut and the men in the boiler rooms should not have been trapped. He would even cry about it.”
Jamey himself featured in the documentary to talk personally about it.
The 19-year-old said: “I would like to think that I was probably Thomas Andrews, just because of the personality traits and what he did is what I would’ve done.
“He gave himself up to let others get off the ship.”
“It was a horrible tragedy in history and I’m just very at peace with it knowing I died on the Titanic.”
But some people online weren’t so convinced once it was uploaded to YouTube.
One user commented: “I’d have believed this more if he started talking about Titanic BEFORE he watched the second half of the movie.”
Although apparently he fits under one category which may be more common than you’d think, apparently: “He sounds like a normal Titanic kid.

“We all get the interest in a very early age, all drew a bunch of Titanic drawings and most of us have a one point in time believed we were a reincarnation of one onboard.”
Replying, one person joked: “I can’t tell if this is sarcastic or not? If so, well done. If not, I literally know Zero people like that.
“I’ve met thousands of people. Zero of them drew a bunch of Titanic drawings as kids and thought they were reincarnated from a passenger.”
