Diddy’s children release joint statement on their dad and the accusations against him

Warning: This article contains discussion of rape and sexual assault which some readers may find distressing.

Diddy’s children have released a joint statement about the accusations against their father.

The musician, real name Sean Combs, is facing a plethora of allegations and is currently in jail in New York after judges denied him bail, with new accusations being made since then.

Facing charges of racketeering, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion and transportation to engage in prostitution, Diddy has denied the claims made against him.

Lawyers have said that over 100 people are planning legal action against Combs, and among those are seven new lawsuits including one which alleges the rape of a 13-year-old girl.

Diddy’s children shared a family picture to Instagram along with a statement hitting out at ‘conspiracy theories’ and ‘false narratives’ while insisting they will support their father.

They wrote: “The past month has devastated our family. Many have judged both him and us based on accusations, conspiracy theories, and false narratives that have spiraled into absurdity on social media.

“We stand united, supporting you every step of the way. We hold onto the truth, knowing it will prevail, and nothing will break the strength of our family.

“WE MISS YOU & LOVE YOU DAD.”

Combs has not made public announcements about the charges on his social media, his first post since the accusations was to wish one of his daughters a happy birthday.

His mother Janice Smalls Combs said that her son was ‘not perfect’ but was ‘not a monster’, claiming that the allegations made against her son were from people ‘seeking financial gain’ after he reached a settlement with former girlfriend Cassie Ventura following the release of footage of him assaulting her in a hotel.

In a previous statement from Diddy’s legal team, his representatives said: “As Mr. Combs’ legal team has emphasised, he cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus.

”That said, Mr. Combs emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors. He looks forward to proving his innocence and vindicating himself in court, where the truth will be established based on evidence, not speculation.”
