Horror fans are already freaking out after the first trailer dropped for a new follow-up to two of the scariest found footage films ever made.

Back in 2014, unsuspecting fans were introduced to Mark Duplass’ socially awkward serial killer Josef, in a film that one fan said on Reddit ‘bothered [them] for days after [they] watched it’.
Another called the ending ‘a jaw dropper’, while a third praised ‘how simple it is’.
In the first movie, Josef invites unsuspected cameraman Aaron (Patrick Brice) to film him for the day and nastiness ensues.
One seriously unnerving jump scare involves a werewolf mask, who Josef dubs Peachfuzz, with viewers yelling at the screen throughout for Aaron to get the hell out of there ASAP.
A new Creep TV show is incoming (Shudder)
Creep 2 was even more of a hit, dropping on Netflix in 2017 and garnering a perfect 100 percent on Rotten Tomatoes.
This time around, Duplass’ serial killer meets his equal in Desiree Akhavan’s Sara – someone who you might say matches his crazy.
One fan called the movie ‘hypnotically unsettling’, while another called it ‘an all-time banger’.
As you can imagine, fans have been bothering the series’ writers Duplass and Brice for yonks about a follow-up.
After Duplass admitted they were ‘struggling’ to come up with a premise as good as the first two movies, it looks like they finally landed on a winner when they announced they’d be bringing out a Creep TV show instead.

Now we’ve just gotten our first look at what’s in store, and it’s safe to say the trailer doesn’t disappoint.
Peachfuzz is back! Plenty more victims are lined up for Duplass’ killer. And it looks like at least one will try and turn the tables on.
Horror fans were super hyped, with one writing: “I couldn’t even watch the whole trailer…”
Another said: “Is this the best time to be a horror fan or what?”

Fans really do not have long to wait at all, with the six-episode series dropping on horror streaming service Shudder on 15 November.
Duplass said of the project: “A little over 10 years ago, Patrick Brice and I spent a week together in my cabin with a small digital camera.
“We emerged with a found footage horror film that was so wildly strange and uncomfortable we assumed no one would see it.
“To be continuing this unholy legacy in the series format is a true nightmare come true.”
I, for one, cannot wait.
