How much Liam and Noel Gallagher are set to earn for Oasis reunion tour

Sales of rain macs and bucket hats just went up. Probably.

Yep, Oasis have actually confirmed they’re going to do a reunion tour – and the Gallagher brothers are reportedly set to earn a shedload for it.

After getting the rumour mill going with a song dedication at Reading Festival and then a mysterious image at the Blossoms’ Manchester gig and on social media.

Announcing several dates across the UK and Ireland next year, the band announced: “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.”

Despite Liam and Noel’s famous feud splitting up the band almost 15 years ago, the brothers have seemingly put things aside enough to share the stage together.

It’s been reported that the brothers have been having some ‘late-night conversations’ and it allegedly led to Noel agreeing to reunite the band after being convinced by a £50 million initial payday.

A source told MailOnline: “Noel would only ever consider sharing the stage with Liam again if the money was astronomical and that’s what convinced him.

“They haven’t buried the hatchet and Noel will always have huge reservations about being in a band with Liam as he’s so unpredictable – both on and off stage.

“Certain conditions will have to be put in place in regards to safeguarding Noel’s presence in this comeback because he really can’t handle Liam’s form for being a liability.

“But the sums of money being offered will obviously help through any potential ordeals. It’s life changing cash – even for somebody already very rich.”

Well, if it does end up going ahead by the time we get to next summer, the lads are set to hit that ‘astronomical’ mark as music experts reckon it could gross a whopping £400 million.

Plus, there’s also rumours Oasis will take a headline slot at Glastonbury.

Although, that payday won’t be quite as sky high.

Fans pointed out that the tour dates announced ‘leaves a big gaping hole during Glastonbury week’.

The band last headlined Glastonbury in 2004, and since they’ve said their tour shows ‘will not be televised’, so them being on the Glasto broadcast would be the only way people not getting tickets could see them on the telly.

However, it’s probably best not to be relying on just that, as the Press Association understands that Oasis won’t be performing at the famous festival.

I mean, god knows how many thousands the pair will probably make from selling branded bucket hats alone.

Liam and Noel’s reps had no comment when approached by LADbible.

Where can I buy tickets?

Fans will be able to buy tickets from 9am on Saturday 31st August from Ticketmaster, SEE Tickets and GIGSANDTOURS.
