Members of the FaZe clan took to the streets of Los Angeles to find the ‘Help’ location going viral from Google Maps, but they had a rather ‘sketchy’ encounter.
Using Google Maps, internet users have spotted an area of land in Los Angeles which appears to have the word ‘Help’ written using materials, written out multiple times.
Since the ‘disturbing’ image went viral over the weekend, some have been sharing details about the location of the messages and others have been trying to work out why the messages are being written – whether they could be a joke made in severely poor taste or whether they’re genuine calls for help.
In one screenshot from Google Maps, the words appear to have been written on a plot of what looks like storage or waste land located between the Los Angeles River, North Mission Road and E Cesar E Chavez Avenue.
The area is located close to the Union Pacific Railroad, and next to a shipping container yard.
On Reddit, one user wrote: “I also see the words trafico, federales, LAPD, and FBI, and this looks like a building site. If it’s a joke it is in dangerously poor taste, this sounds like someone or a group of someones are being trafficked and used materials available to them to spell out an SOS.
“I hope if a random person noticed, authorities noticed as well.”
A video of the FaZe boys has been circulating on social media showing the group going to try and visit the location themselves.
Spotting someone, one of the FaZe boys can be heard saying : “Is there any chance you’ve like to do an interview for our documentary?”
A pick-up truck then starts rolling towards the group, one member questioning if the driver was asking them to ‘come here’.
A member of the group then goes over to chat to the driver, who reportedly responds: “Get out.”
The group then start making their way away from the location, with the pick-up truck reversing back the way it came.
“Dude, we’re in such a bad area,” one of the group can be heard saying.
And it’s not taken long for social media users to weigh in.
One Twitter user said: “Why’d they decide that this would a good idea?” as another added: “That man knows something we dont.”
A third commented: “Oh hell naww that’s sketchy.”
And a fourth resolved: “Now that was sus as hell, they know something.”
