Clarkson’s Farm star Kaleb Cooper has opened up on the recent health scare suffered by his colleague in agriculture, Jeremy Clarkson.
The former Grand Tour presenter recently revealed in his Sunday Times column that he’d had to go to hospital after feeling a ‘tightness’ in his chest this summer, as well as ‘pins and needles’ in his arm and various other physical difficulties following a ‘physical deterioration’ in his health.
Clarkson explained that he’d started having trouble swimming while on holiday and couldn’t make it up or down the stairs ‘without holding someone’s hand’, resulting in him being taken to hospital in an ambulance.
The presenter said a doctor then decided to ‘put me in a big Polo mint’, which presumably means he was fed through a scanner, and what it found was that one of his arteries was completely blocked and another was well on the way to becoming clogged up.
Fortunately, after a procedure to clear the blockage, he was home by next morning thinking ‘crikey, that was close’.
Now, his colleague Kaleb Cooper has offered an update on how Clarkson is doing and it sounds decently encouraging.

Appearing on Capital Breakfast, the prodigious farmer told radio listeners how often he saw Clarkson and what his health was like.
He said: “I’m there everyday, I’m at the farm every day. So we’ll text everyday or I’ll go in for a cup of tea everyday. And he’s doing alright.”
Considering Clarkson was saying in his column that in a health sense ‘my bankruptcy was most definitely just around the corner’ and possibly ‘days away’, ‘doing alright’ is a definite improvement from where he was recently.
While Kaleb might be round at Diddly Squat every day, he’s also been incredibly busy with some projects of his own, as next month sees the streaming release of his stage show The World According to Kaleb Cooper.
Next year also sees the expected release of the next season of Clarkson’s Farm, and it’s likely to be filled with all sorts of obstacles and hurdles to overcome if the Diddly Squat team’s posting on social media is anything to go by.

Cooper recently shared a picture of a flooded field and dubbed it ‘2024 summed up in one picture’, while he previously said that this year’s weather was likely to make it ‘an interesting and difficult season’.
There’s been other ill news for Clarkson and his Diddly Squat crew as he recently posted about how it’s been a ‘s**t week’ due to one of his dogs having to go ‘under the knife’.
His dog Sansa, named after the Game of Thrones character, is sadly suffering from pyometra, a potentially life-threatening infection of the uterus, and in a subsequent update Lisa Hogan said the dog was back home after her surgery.
