Martha Stewart makes shocking claim about neighbor Ryan Reynolds that fans are refusing to believe

Ryan Reynolds is loved by millions because he’s just so funny, right? Martha Stewart disagrees.

Despite starring in multiple comedy films, a ‘90s sitcom, and being the focus of countless ‘Funny Moments’ compilations on YouTube, one person who isn’t laughing along with the rest of the world is Stewart.

The writer and businesswoman, 83, critiqued the Deadpool & Wolverine star during a special guest appearance on the Rent Free game show. She was asked a bunch of questions about her celebrity pals and acquaintances.

When told to name who she thought respondents said would be the most fun to hang out with, the Homekeeping Handbook author named her good friend Snoop Dogg.

She then said Reynolds, 48, likely made the cut, before airing him out for apparently not being very funny.

“He’s probably on the list just ‘cause he covers himself up in his movies and you don’t see his face — Ryan Reynolds, is he one of those?” she quizzed.

“And you want to know something? He’s not so funny in real life,” she added. “No, he’s not so funny. He’s very serious.”

Stewart went on to reveal her chosen picks would have been Brad Pitt and George Clooney.

Later in the show, Stewart further explained her savage opinion about Reynolds.

“He’s a good actor,” she claimed. “He can act funny, but he isn’t funny. Maybe he can get to be funny again.”

“I’m going to get in trouble,” she added. “He’s my neighbor.”

Let’s hope things don’t become too awkward the next time they see each other.

Social media was divided after hearing Stewart’s hot take on Reynolds.

“Martha’s out here spilling tea for no reason and I love the chaotic energy,” said on X user.

However one fan declared: “If someone can act funny they are funny.”

Someone else quipped: “I mean I’m all for a good drag but because somebody is your neighbor doesn’t mean they have to entertain you and make you cry with laughter when putting the bins out.”

Another joked: “Hmm how do you go on the internet and talk abt ur neighbors like aren’t you gonna go home and see them in the neighborhood the next day?”

Reynolds, for his part, got wind of Stewart’s burn, hitting back on Twitter.

He wrote: “I’d disagree with her. But I tried that once. The woman is unexpectedly spry. She really closed the gap after a mile or so.”
