A ‘nightmare’ Netflix movie has had fans so ‘on edge’ they admitted they ‘couldn’t breathe’ while watching it.
Fans say one scene ‘was the most anxious and longest 20 min’ they’ve ever seen.
The thriller, which dropped last week, has shot to the top of the Netflix movie charts worldwide – and it certainly seems like a stressful watch.

Yellowstone‘s Kelsey Asbille stars as Iris, a woman who’s injected with a ‘paralytic agent’ by a serial killer, who calmly informs her she has 20 minutes to get away until she’s completely paralysed.
Oh, and along the way her body will slowly be shutting down.
And not only does she have a serial killer to contend with, she also has to contend with ants crawling over her face while she can’t move her body, and also trying to get help when all she can move is her eyes.
I don’t know about you, but my heart’s racing just reading about it.

Ratched‘s Finn Wittrock, Pirates of the Caribbean‘s Moray Treadwell and Stay Close‘s Daniel Francis round out the cast in the heart-pounding thriller, which is also produced by Spider-Man and Evil Dead director Sam Raimi.
Fans have certainly been raving about Don’t Move, with one posting to the Netflix Bangers Facebook group “I have never seen a film like this before. I couldn’t breathe when watching it.”
One fan agreed: “Kept me on the edge of my seat, loved it,” as another chipped in: “Unsettling but a good watch”.
Over on X, formerly Twitter, one fan wrote: “I watched that new Netflix move called #DontMove where the lady was drugged and paralyzed…that was the most anxious and longest 20 min I ever seen.”
Another said ‘that s**t had me on edge’, while a third called the film a ‘nightmare’.
Not everyone was a fan, with plenty of viewers disappointed in how the movie ends.

One slammed: “Tried to watch Don’t Move, 15 minutes and I was done and that was being generous.”
A second reasoned: “Story is good but… I feel they could’ve made it better, ‘specially the ending, is very boring in my opinion,” as a second agreed: “Good story just an abrupt ending.”
But what exactly did Rotten Tomatoes critics think? Critics rated it a respectable 73 percent – while RT audience members awarded it just 43 percent. Ouch.
Decider’s John Serba sums Don’t Move up as ‘a reasonably tight and effective thriller, and a rock-solid debut from Netto and Schindler.’
The Guardian’s Benjamin Lee writes that the thriller ‘doesn’t quite stick the landing as smoothly as one might hope with a few too many incredulous moments and some biffed one-liners.’
But he adds: “There are enough heart-in-throat moments on the way there to separate this from most of the genre guff.”
