A Miles Teller movie fans have branded their ‘favorite of all time’ has been added to Netflix following its re-release.
Having first dropped in theaters in 2014, the hit film was re-released back in September to celebrate its tenth anniversary.
Miles Teller stars as ambitious drummer Andrew Neiman, a student at the fictional Shaffer Conservatory in New York City. Meanwhile, J.K Simmons is his terrifying, cut-throat jazz instructor Terence Fletcher, who takes absolutely no prisoners.
Andrew is soon pushed to the brink of his ability – and sanity – when he’s transferred to a top jazz ensemble with Terence as his teacher. His perfectionism nose dives into obsession, making for some incredibly tense viewing.

The critically-acclaimed film was rightfully described by one fan as ‘an action movie that just happens to be about jazz.’
Meanwhile another admitted the movie gets better every time they watch it.
The film in question is Whiplash, written and directed by La La Land’s Damien Chazelle. You can watch the trailer below:
While Teller taught himself drums from the age of 15, he had to endure a pretty gruelling schedule for Whiplash. He practiced up to four hours a day for eight weeks straight to perfect Hank Levy’s ‘Whiplash’ and Duke Ellington’s ‘Caravan.’
As of October, the movie has grossed $50.4 million worldwide. It was also nominated for five awards at the 87th Academy Awards, winning in the Best Film Editing and Best Sound Mixing categories, while Simmons also bagged the gong for Best Supporting Actor.
If that’s not enough reason to watch, then Rotten Tomatoes critics also scored it an almost-perfect 94 percent, praising its storytelling, editing, and performances.
Its critics consensus reads: “Intense, inspiring, and well-acted, Whiplash is a brilliant sophomore effort from director Damien Chazelle and a riveting vehicle for stars J.K. Simmons and Miles Teller.”
Reacting to Whiplash joining Netflix, one fan wrote on Twitter: “Whiplash on Netflix???? F*** YEAHHHH.” A second said: “My favorite movie of all time Whiplash is on Netflix now”.

I haven’t been moved or engaged by a film since Whiplash.” A second agreed: “The finale will always be one of my favorite movie theater experiences. My jaw was on the floor by the time the credits rolled.”
Another reckoned: “One of the best endings in all times” as one fan reckoned: ” I can’t get enough of it either. Gets better each time I watch it.”
Whiplash is now streaming on Netflix.
