Netflix fans have said a horror film dropping this Friday will not just give you nightmares with how scary it is, but the film’s unique concept will actually tap into how it feels to experience one.
The movie in question has an utterly unique concept – it follows a grieving woman alone in a forest who is injected by a killer with a ‘paralytic agent’.
Once the woman – played by Kelsey Asbille – is injected, she has only 20 minutes left to live.

This forces her to ‘run, fight, and hide’, with her body slowly shutting down and less than half an hour to live.
Produced by Sam Raimi, the legendary director behind the Evil Dead franchise, Don’t Move is directed by Brian Netto and Adam Schindler, and stars the likes of Finn Wittrock and Daniel Francis.
Netto said of the concept: “[Don’t Move] is a story of a woman who finds herself in a situation where she’s struggling, she’s at a low point.
“All of a sudden, she finds herself dosed with a paralytic, and her body is going to slowly but surely shut down. Now she’s in a fight for her life.”
On Reddit, when discussing the film’s trailer, lots of fans made one comparison.
One comment read: “I feel like this is trying to tap into what people usually experience during nightmares.
“Ever tried to scream in one of those? Throw a punch? Run away? You want to act but your brain is wired to not in such a way that you can’t escape those limitations as they present in whatever dream.”
Another replied saying: “I’ve had so many dreams I’m running from something, but my legs don’t work and I’m just completely out of breath. It does remind me of those dreams.”

Considering the film is 84 minutes long, you assume she probably finds a way to delay those 20 minutes, with one comment on the first trailer dropping saying: “For someone that is supposed to be paralyzed after 20 minutes, she sure does get around to a lot of places in the trailer.”
Another said: “Wait. A trailer that makes me want to see a movie but doesn’t show me the whole damn thing? How is this possible…”
And a third added: “I love these kinds of movies where you get one or two people isolated in a time sensitive danger situation. Looking forward to it.”
