This botanical spirit, described by Nutt as a ‘GABA spirit’, is designed to mimic the effects of alcohol on the brain, intending to calm your nervous system down and leave you hangover-free.
Jesus College Cambridge lists Sentia as ‘using naturally-occurring botanicals to create the drinks’ is the ‘first step towards making social drinking healthier and safer.’
And while Nutt himself doesn’t think alcohol will ever fully lose its appeal, he’s hoping his product will help people ‘socialize without having to use alcohol’.
What Sentia Spirits are available?
