Notre Dame left to rue doinked field goal in CFP championship loss

Notre Dame had a chance to further cut into Ohio State’s lead in the fourth quarter, but instead got stopped in the red zone and then kicker Mitch Jeter’s field goal attempt hit off the uprights to keep Notre Dame off the board entirely.
