Pamela Anderson responds after Liam Neeson admits to being ‘madly in love’ with her after filming new movie

Pamela Anderson has responded to Liam Neeson’s praising of her explaining why he is ‘the perfect gentleman’ to work with.

Earlier this year, the legendary actors got together for the filming of a reboot of classic cop comedy The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad! – the 1988 original starring Leslie Nielsen.

And it didn’t take long for Love Actually star Neeson to speak out singing Anderson’s praises about just how ‘terrific’ she is to work with.

In the upcoming The Naked Gun – currently expected to come out in 2025 – Neeson takes on the role of Drebin Jr. who it’s presumed is the son of Frank Drebin from the 1988 release.

Anderson’s role is yet to be publicly announced, but one thing’s for sure, she definitely has at least a few scenes with Neeson who spoke out about his experience filming with the Baywatch star in an interview with People.

First things first, Neeson noted he’s ‘madly in love with’ Anderson.

The 72-year-old continued: “She’s just terrific to work with. I can’t compliment her enough, I’ll be honest with you.”

He explained she has ‘no huge ego’ and ‘just comes in to do the work’ and not only that but is ‘so easy to work with’ and also ‘funny,’ adding: “She’s going to be terrific in the film.”

And Anderson has since responded.

Anderson praised Neeson as an actor who ‘brings out the best in you’ and not only that but does it ‘with respect, kindness and depth of experience’.

The 57-year-old said Neeson ‘sincerely looked after’ her, recalling moments where he ‘wrapped his coat around [her] when [she] was cold,’ resolving he’s the ‘perfect gentleman’.

She added: “It was an absolute honor to work with him.”

And while Neeson had some hesitations about starring in a comedy, noting whether he can ‘carry it or not’ he ‘honestly do[esn’t] know,’ Anderson was quick to jump in and offer some reassuring words.

The actor branded Neeson ‘humble’ and said: “It was hard to keep a straight face in scenes together.”

The reboot is based on an original story written by Seth MacFarlane with the screenplay co-written by Akiva Schaffer, Dan Gregor, Doug Mand, Mark Hentemann, and Alec Sulkin – Schaffer having directed the film and MacFarlane and Erica Huggins producing.

The Naked Gun is currently reported as being set for release by Paramount Pictures on August 1, 2025.
