Going to the zoo is meant to be a fun day out for the family, providing the opportunity to see animals usually based across the world in one location.
A typical day at the zoo may see families viewing animal shows and even get the chance to pet some furry friends if they are lucky. But not everything goes to plan…
And there’s inevitably going to be some shenanigans that are better of left to the naked eye. Take a look:
Zoo animals may be on their best behavior a lot of the time, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t naughty from time to time.
Mating is, of course, part of any animal cycle, and it’s pretty common for it to take place.
However, you wouldn’t expect it to happen with a public gallery.
Nonetheless, some visitors at an unknown zoo got a close view of two gorillas getting down and dirty.
Thankfully, the display didn’t go on long enough for the kids to start asking mom and dad what was going on.

Zoo visitors could do little more than stare at the slowly shuddering bum of a male gorilla.
At one point, one of the younger gorillas approached the mating pair, sitting right behind the male and even putting a hand on his backside. Talk about third-wheeling!
But in a bizarre silver lining, the younger gorilla was able to briefly block the view of the mating session for those watching behind an enclosure.
People visiting the gorillas at the zoo quickly realized what was going on, with one person being heard saying they’d ‘seen too much’ before continuing to see a whole lot more and joking they were watching a ‘porno film’.
Of course, there is always a risk something like this can happen in a zoo, but do you honestly expect it will ever happen?

As for the sex, we might guess it wasn’t all that good considering it lasted only a couple of minutes and both gorillas wandered off without further interaction afterwards.
Of course, the people watching them in action may have played a part in that, but make of that what you will.
Let’s be fair, gorillas need love too and without other animals to interact with they get incredibly lonely, with some spending decades in captivity and suffering for it.
This comes after a woman was filmed climbing over the fence of a New Jersey zoo and getting dangerously close to a Bengal tiger in what appeared to be an attempt to pet it.
