A few videos have begun circulating online showing what appear to be UFOs near US Air Force bases, and it’s put some people on edge.
People are pretty concerned after seeing the odd lights in the night sky in the US in recent weeks, with the footage of the strange appearance leaving viewers scratching their heads.
According to a Mail Online report, dozens of people in Kokomo, Indiana, have been seeing this bizarre display of fast-moving glowing balls of light in the night sky.
This has proved particularly concerning for some people as Kokomo is 13 miles south of Grissom Joint Air Reserve Base.

But before you get your tinfoil hats on and pledge your allegiance to our potential new alien overlords, it is important to remember what UFO actually stands for.
UFO means unidentified flying object – so it doesn’t immediately mean aliens… but then again, maybe that is what they want you to believe.
That being said, some of the videos have sparked the imaginations of people on social media.
TikTok user christina.sharp18, shared one video earlier this month that has already been viewed more than 500,000 times on the platform.
In the clip, Christina is heard alongside some children filming the lights in the sky as they quickly fade into nothingness, audibly asking what the source of the light is.

One person commented: “I’m being dead**s when I say that the one time I saw a UFO it looked like this.”
Another wrote: “Those are definitely unidentified flying objects! I’m beginning to believe they’re giant orbs/energy/entities/spirits.”
With a third commenting: “I’ve seen at least five of these videos within 2 days IM CONVINCED & CONCERNED at this point!”
Despite the fear that aliens are upon us, experts have dismissed this idea and offered a more straightforward explanation.
Alejandro Rojas, an advisor to tech start-up Enigma Labs, helps investigate witness submissions to the group’s growing database of UFO sightings and explained what was going on in the video.

He told the Mail Online: “’These look very clearly to be military flares. The tell-tale signs are the lights being in a row and lighting up and disappearing in succession.”
He also said that while there was the Grissom base to the north, there were several other US Air Force bases surrounding Kokomo that may be linked to the light show.
He continued: “Kokomo is around 50 miles away from Camp Fort Wayne [Fort Wayne Air National Guard Base]. Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton is also about 150 miles away. These could be from either location.”
A less exciting explanation, so maybe it is just more fun to believe the aliens are watching us… and always have been.
