Two signs people claim you should always look for that show if a man will ‘cheat’

No one ever wants to doubt their partner, but if you do find yourself suspecting they might be unfaithful there are two signs you can look out for.

Before we go any further, I should stress that these signs aren’t a 100 percent guarantee that your partner is cheating – communication is key, and you should talk to them before jumping to any conclusions.

But with that being said, a lot of internet users agree that certain habits do act as an indication that something’s going on, and they’ve been brought to light by a TikToker named Fiona, aka @baddgal_fifi.

Now, more often than ever, people turn to social media for relationship advice (@baddgal_fifi/TikTok)

Fiona’s findings

In a video shared earlier this year, Fiona urged her followers who are interested in men to look out for a particular red flag she’s apparently noticed can be a cause for concern.

In the clip, which has racked up hundreds of thousands of views, Fiona pointed to two crucial signs which may indicate that your partner has ‘cheater energy’.

She explained: “Guys that have cheater energy, meaning they will cheat on you, they are DTC, that is what I like to say, down to cheat.”

Red flag 1

Fiona went on to say that in ‘her experience’, one of the things that men who are ‘down to cheat’ do is ‘follow tons of girls they don’t know, especially fitness girls’, on Instagram.

“If I see he follows a bunch of fitness girls, DTC,” Fiona said.

Red flag 2

The second indicator, Fiona claimed, was ‘opposite but equal’ to the first.

She explained: “He has Instagram and he follows every girl he has ever met, the woman who served him at the taco truck, he is following her, normal girl but tons.

“If they have spoken, they have crossed paths, he has got her IG [Instagram], it is giving DTC.”

Viewers’ responses

After hearing Fiona’s arguments, some viewers responded to claim that the TikToker had hit the nail on the head.

“The following every girl he crosses paths with is so real,” one viewer wrote, as another added: “Always check their follow list. Tells ya all u need to know! Run.”

But to play devil’s advocate, there were quite a few comments from viewers who had unfortunately been cheated on by partners who had shown neither of Fiona’s red flags.

Other viewers said their partners didn’t even have social media, but still cheated on them.

I guess the moral of the story is that someone’s follow list might not necessarily prove they’re a cheater, but it might be worth keeping an eye on all the same.
