Woman left seriously confused after stranger passes her unusual six-word note while on a date

note

A woman who was on a date wants to know who handed her a cryptic warning note.

TikToker Lindsay explained that she’d been on a third date with a guy when two strangers came up to her and handed her a note.

Lindsay said that the date had been going well up until then and had been rather ‘PDA-ish’ the whole time when two women she didn’t know came over to hand her the note.

Spotting the warning on the note without being able to see it in full, she tucked it away in her purse and read it properly later on when she went to the bathroom.

The note carried the messages ‘you can do better’ and ‘JUST NO’, which seemed to make it emphatically clear that whomever they were they had some serious concerns about her date.

Once she got a chance to fully read the warning her mind was set racing as to why they’d sent her the message.

“I’m like, did he do something when I went up to go to the bathroom? Did he hit on them? Do they know him around town?” Lindsay wondered.

“Were they just being girls’ girls who were like, looking at him?”

She explained her date was in his ‘younger 50s’ while these girls seemed to be in their mid 20s and Lindsay herself was in her late 40s.

Left to puzzle over why they warned her away, she wanted to know if they’d told her ‘you can do better’ and ‘JUST NO’ because they thought she could be dating in another league and ‘were just trying to be sweet’ or whether they’d actually spotted a serious red flag she hadn’t picked up on.

“Then I’m like, if they saw something would they maybe put ‘bad vibes’, ‘not safe’ or did they see something that was like a pink flag,” she pondered over the note.

In further updates Lindsay said she had tried to find the girls who gave her the note but hadn’t succeeded, while she’d also not be going on any other dates with the guy.

She mentioned some text exchanges that followed the date which had given her some red flags as she asked him what he remembered about the note being handed over, saying he didn’t ‘recall’ seeing anyone he knew out on the date.

In the end it seems as though she’s listened to her gut and ended things to be on the safe side.
