Woman paid $100 for someone’s lost luggage and made incredible discovery inside

woman paid for lost suitcase

Ever wondered what happens if you forget your suitcase and never bother to pick it back up again?

Well, first of all, I’m judging you, because who does that? But then again, we all have our reasons.

And it turns out if you have forgotten your suitcase, or simply decided you couldn’t be bothered to wait for it to come out onto the conveyor belt and buggered off without it, then it may actually end up being bought by someone else.

You’ve heard of mystery storage units, but mystery suitcase, anyone?

A TikToker called Becky – who goes by @beckysbazaar – took to the platform on December 18 to reveal she’d bought a piece of ‘unclaimed luggage’ from London’s Heathrow Airport for $159.79.

Becky bought the suitcase via a company called Undelivrd – described on its website as a ‘sustainable and economical way of dealing with the lost luggage’.

On Undelivrd’s site, you can buy ‘full lost and unclaimed airport luggage’ which has either been lost in transit and unclaimed, ended up in storage for ‘months’, or nearly destroyed.

But what ended up being inside and was it worth the sum?

Well, Becky reveals the first thing she saw after unwrapping and zipping open the case: a pair of ‘Black sparkly UGG boots’.

“I have absolutely no idea if they’re real or not,” the TikToker admits. “But they were brand new so.”

Up next? Well, another pair of footwear. Once again, who’s to say whether they’re the real deal or fakes, but inside the case was also a pair of ‘Juicy Couture slides’.

Oh, and what else could you want more than a box of Pokemon cards too? As Becky notes – “So random.”

Next up is not just one, but two pairs of hair straighteners.

And Becky even revealed she found an Apple iPad concealed beneath too – the case now certainly more than making up for the $150 she splashed on it.

Becky explains this is the ‘best lost luggage’ case she’s received so far, but notes she remains ‘sceptical’.

Why? Because ‘none of it actually makes any sense to be a legitimate person’s suitcase,’ the TikToker argues.

There was a bag of toiletries and one with makeup in alongside other random bits of clothing.

The other side of the suitcase contained neck pillows and fitness watches, although Becky notes she couldn’t actually get them to work – shame.

Add in a baby pair of Adidas trainers, a Kindle, and some headphones and well, it’s a pretty solid haul.

And it’s not taken long for people to flock to the post to weigh in on the haul.

One TikToker said: “You can buy unclaimed luggage???!!!”

“Hope the iPad can help you find whose bag it is and send it back,” another said.

Although Becky replied to another comment noting the iPad had been ‘reset’.

“The person that lost this watching this,” a third wrote.

And a fourth resolved: “I wonder what happened to the person.”
