The teenager who was left hanging by her broken leg on a power line has revealed a major life update years later.

Kennedy Littledike was just 16 years old when she lost her leg after a car crash with her friends.

It was in 2021 when she lost control of her car after becoming emotional about her recent break up which led to the Idaho teen pulling the wheel to correct the car, but over did it and crashed.

Littledike was left with a broken femur, a broken humerus bone, a broken clavicle and a brachial plexus injury and underwent five amputations on her leg.

Littledike explained to Inside Edition: “I went off the road on the right side. My side of the vehicle hit the power pole, and we started flipping and rolling.

“We didn’t have our seat belts. So when we were flipping, and I was the first one out, I wasn’t on the ground. I was actually hanging in the power line by my broken leg.”

She was flung 30 feet into the air, and her arm was left ‘hanging on by the skin on [her] back’ while her upper thigh snapped over the power wire and left her dangling.

While she was up there, she recalled how she remembered asking herself why nobody was trying to get her down, as they were staring at her (in shock, probably).

“It took an hour because first they had to get the power shut off,” Littledike said.

When she was waiting to be rushed to hospital, she remembered ‘feeling like saying “thank you for trying to save my life but this is it for me,” and I remember like closing my eyes and just, done‘.

Four years after the incident, she’s given the public a little update on what’s going on in her life since the crash, and it’s fantastic.

Not only does she now have a prosthetic leg, but she just got married.

Posting in November last year to her TikTok page, she wrote: “I’m leaving these here cause I never got around to posting them but they’re too beautiful not to share.”

What followed were some of the most cute wedding photos to date of her and her hubby.

Kennedy went on to post a few more videos, and then some clips of her vlog during the honeymoon to Hawaii.

It’s safe to say that viewers were thrilled to see how far she’s come since the crash, with many gushing over how happy she looks.

One person wrote: “You were stunning! Your happiness can be felt through the screen.”

Another commented: “OH MY GOSH THESE ARE PERFECT you can literally see the love radiating off you guys.”

Someone else added: “I’m so happy for you girly!!”
